FIT For this player the skate comes in both a Regular & Wide fit with the Regular providing a moderate instep & width where the Wide gives a deeper boot fit and additional width throughout the boot. BOOT CONSTRUCTION Just like the Jetspeed family of skates CCM has brought the One-Piece boot construction to a lower price point to give this player the benefits of a one piece boot and the direct energy transfer it gives. The build is is a composite blend material that's NHL caliber construction with a slightly softer stiffness that's fully thermoformable to get a great fit around your foot. Keeping your foot connected to the boot is a HD microfiber liner that has added wear patch on the top three eyelets for that high wear area. Built up under this liner is a multi-density foams around the ankle with a seamless design that will provide ultimate comfort and fit. TONGUE & TENDON GUARD Helping you stay connected we have a 7mm black felt XS asymmetrical tongue with reinforced layers for added comfort and protection. The asymmetrical design makes sure the tongue fits properly around your foot and stays right where it should and flexes the right amount to get the most energy out of your stride. To give you extended range of motion with your stride CCM has the powerflex tendon guard that has a shape to improve your range of motion maximizing each stride providing more skating power.
