Human anti-codanin-1 antibody Antibody against codanin-1. This protein is linked to congenital dyserythropoietic anemia, caused by mutations in the gene coding for CDAN1. An autoso mal recessive blood disorder characterized by morphological abnormalities of erythroblasts, ineffective erythropoiesis, macrocytic anemia and secondary hemochromatosis. It is occasionally associated with bone abnormalities, especially of the hands and feet (acrodysostosis), nail hypoplasia, and scoliosis. Show more
