This device is able to not only prevent this defect from affecting your TV but is also capable of adding CEC Remote control of the MiSTer menu system from your TV Remote. Unzip the firmware file, and copy it to the USB storage, it will reboot automatically and be ready to use. Troubleshooting:If your remote is not controlling the device you may need to unplug the USB cable for the CEC_Enabler and plug it back in, occasionally it will hang during the handshake with the TV, especially with Samsung TVs.If its still not controlling the MiSTer you may need to power cycle the TV, sometimes the TV will not complete the handshake with the adapter. (Mostly an issue with Samsung TVs) Once synced it should not need any further interaction (Unless its a Samsung, it might need both of these steps to be done again)
