The Beside You side table, designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance in 2008, is an elegant accessory made from fine materials. As suggested by the name, it has a “nomadic” personality. In fact, the table can stand alone or be used in multiple compositions, alongside a sofa or opposite an armchair. The solid American walnut frame is paired with a light and transparent 4 mm-thick glass top. The base and the top, both circular, are joined asymmetrically by a simple, minimalist support. The multiple finishes available, including shellac, make it possible to create a personalised object to keep close at hand at all times.
