The essential, graphic silhouette—reminiscent of 1950s Scandinavian seating—is one of the defining features of the Scapula chair, born from the first collaboration between the crea tive flair of designers David/Nicolas and the artisanal craftsmanship of Ceccotti Collezioni. The structure, which can be crafted in solid American walnut or ash, features a fluid, organic workmanship that draws the eye to the armrests—slightly angled upward—and to the back of the backrest, where two small raised elements recreate a shape reminiscent of shoulder blades, from which the chair takes its name. The upholstered backrest, on its rear side, creates a sort of porthole through which the upholstery material can be glimpsed and appreciated. This makes Scapula visually appealing from every angle, also thanks to the possibility of combining multiple leather and fabric finishes with the chosen wood tone.
