Cécilia Meneau / Wildsville Mosaic Cecilia Meneau, originally from Paris, France, is a vibrant and eclectic artist with a one-of-a-kind style. She beats her own drum through a nonconformist lifestyle, which, when combined with an innate sense of style, gives way to a form of artistic expression like no other. In the 90s and on, Cécilia made her mark in the garage/punk music scene as a fierce singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and drummer playing music around the globe. The multi-talented Cécilia was ironically part of the infamous band, the No-Talents!More recently, Cécilia discovered a love for mosaic art. About five years ago, during the doldrums of the pandemic days, she leaned into her creative side and found her distinctive method for creating stunning mosaic artwork. She meticulously crafts ceramic and porcelain tiles using her hands (no power tools!). Her artwork evokes her affinity for vintage mid-century aesthetics with themes from rock and roll, exotica, pin-up culture, beatnik vibes, and, of course, cats.Fifteen years ago, she found her home in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her husband and their adorable fluffy tuxedo cat named Manray. Cécilia spends her days tirelessly perfecting her craft and collaborating with fellow artists to create eye-catching mosaic pieces that truly amaze.
