All of our soaps will be made with Tallow. Home rendered Tallow is the original soap. It is both cleansing & moisturizing. It is full of natural emollients & lathers more creamy than a traditional soap. Because tallow resembles our own natural sebum, it penetrates the skin & helps with sensitive, irritated skin! The Evergreen Tallow Soap pairs tallow with our favorite evergreen saps & needles. If you've been following Cedar Hill any length of time, you've likely heard Tori talk about her love of saps and resins. Saps act on our skin, just as they do the tree. They ooze out when a tree is injured to create a protective barrier and help heal the tree. They are antimicrobial and help lock in moisture. Paired with tallow and herb infused oils, they help the fats penetrate the lipid barrier and create a breathable seal, protecting the skin barrier.
