About the Piece These necklaces were brought to life from a piece of cedar I collected while hiking in the Pacific Northwest. I fell in love with the cedar drenched, mossy, fern covered forests in this part of the country and wanted to create some works of art to commemorate that. After collecting the cedar, I created a mold of it and then used precious metal clay in the mold. From there I fired the clay and hand sawed out the cedar sprigs. The cedar pendant is highly detailed, retaining the texture from the original piece of cedar I molded. It hangs from an oxidized silver chain.
