CEDAR There are many trees known as 'Cedar', which may or may not be botanically related. Most commonly they are either species of Cedrus, Thuja or Juniperus. Cedar is sacred in ma ny traditions around the world. It is regarded as a tree of life and a bridge between the worlds. Ceremonially it is burnt as an offering to the Sun Gods and to help prayers rise to the heavens. It is also used for purification, protection, and prosperity. Our Cedar comes from North America.
