A Welsh perry pear. Small to medium fruit, mainly conical, green with some russet. Harvest late August to early September. The name comes from Cefnydd Farm, Monmouthshire , 'hyfryd ' being the Welsh for lovely. The trees were believed to be remnants of old orchards from the 1880s. Show more
