A tribute to Célasie Trahan, Davell's third great-grandmother, an Acadian daughter of south Louisiana whose family carried their name from France to Nova Scotia, and on to the bayo us where they put down roots in the 1700s. On August 29, 1870, she joined her life to Leon Lorins in St. Martinville, beginning the line that would, generations later, arrive at Davell.This candle is for the women who came first, the ones whose quiet strength still perfumes the rooms we live in.
