Unusual and pretty! A delicate and delicious Chinese variety sometimes with snow-white stalks. White celery has been cultivated in the Chinese town of Liyang for over 800 years. St ems are long, slender, and hollow, with strong celery flavor but tender, light texture, ideal for Asian soups and stews, but equally suitable for mirepoix and other recipes calling for celery. This variety is known to be easy to grow and more heat tolerant than other celery varieties, plants get very large with many branching stems, up to 4 pounds. 60-90 days. Show more
