Celeste 2x2 — Pale Seafoam Zellige Mosaic Tile A pale, milky green with the faintest wash of blue running through it. This is sea glass picked up off a beach after years in the wat er — soft-edged, a little cloudy, never quite one color or another. Celeste is one of the softest glazes in our palette, closer to worn glass than to any true green or blue, and it's long been a favorite for pattern work, where its quiet tone lets a more graphic composition take the lead. Up close, each tile drifts from a cool mint to a warmer, dustier taupe, giving Celeste more texture than most solid colors. Mounted on mesh sheets for a straightforward, clean installation, Celeste 2×2 reads as a cleaner, more architectural grid than the 1×1 — suited to kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fireplace surrounds where the wall itself should hold presence. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, white oak, and lime plaster. Each sheet covers one square foot. As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone and texture is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
