The Celeste fig, or Ficus carica, bears small fruit from early June to early Mid August. Like the fruit, the tree is also small (10-15 feet) if left unpruned. Great in hot, humid c limates. Mature plants can withstand temperatures to zero degrees. If temperatures reach below zero, they will die back to the ground but will rebound in the spring.
