Allow fresh paint to cure for at least 30 days. Remove outlet covers and switch plates. Use a level to mark a plumb guide line for your first roll. If your wallpaper is self-adhesive (peel-and-stick): Unroll and let panels acclimate flat for 24 hours. Peel 6–8 inches of backing from the top and align the roll to your plumb line at the ceiling. Smooth downward with a felt squeegee, peeling more backing as you go to avoid bubbles. Butt subsequent rolls edge-to-edge; avoid overlaps. Match the design as you go.
