Celestron 114LCM Computerised Reflector Telescope Locating distant galaxies shouldn't require an astrophysics degree or hours of tedious manual calibration. The Celestron 114LCM eliminates the guesswork of stargazing by automatically navigating the night sky for you. Armed with a massive light-gathering 114mm aperture and motorized tracking, this reflector scope locks onto planet rings, lunar craters, and deep-space nebulae at the touch of a button. Superior Light Gathering Meets Hands-Free Precision Standard starter telescopes often leave you staring into faint, blurry grey spots because their narrow lenses fail to draw in sufficient light. Worse yet, manual mounts require constant readjustment as celestial bodies drift out of view due to Earth's rotation. The Newtonian mirror design inside this 114mm optical tube gathers 265 times more light than the human eye, capturing vivid detail on faint deep-sky targets. Combined with an automated Altazimuth mount, the system continuously tracks your target as it glides across the atmosphere, keeping your view rock-steady without manual intervention. Engineered for Stargazing Accuracy 4,000-Object Onboard Database: Select any planet, star cluster, or galaxy from the hand controller, and the motorized mount slews directly to it. In-Built SkyAlign Technology: Center any three bright objects in the eyepiece to calibrate the system within minutes—no celestial charts required. Dual Magnification Eyepieces: Switch effortlessly between the 25mm lens (40x) for wide views of star clusters and the 9mm lens (111x) for up-close lunar detailing. Tool-Free Aluminium Assembly: Set up the lightweight frame and sturdy tripod anywhere in the field without carrying extra gear. Immediate Availability & Dispatch In stock and ready to ship direct from Elite Store with prompt UK arrival to your door. FAQs Q: Is the open-tube reflector design difficult to maintain over time? A: Not at all. Because reflector optics feature an open optical tube, they simply require occasional mirror realignment (collimation) and careful dust-cap storage to maintain peak optical performance. Q: Do I need prior astronomy knowledge to align the automated system? A: No prior experience is needed. The SkyAlign feature allows you to point at any three bright stars or bright planets in the sky—you don't even need to know their names—and the computer self-calibrates your precise position and time. Q: How quickly will my order arrive once placed? A: Elite Store ensures rapid mainland delivery via our dependable courier service, dispatching your unit quickly so you can start observing without delay.
