Celia is a slow fashion maker from the Cotswolds, crafting timeless pieces from cloth sourced from family run mills and local farmers. Her creative practice centres around telling a story of clothing from farm to garment, tracing each element back as far as possible: discovering its origins, building community and celebrating local textile heritage all for the purpose of reconnecting us with the garments in our wardrobes and their inherent value. The Celia Birchall core collection is made up of corduroy, wool lined gilets and a capsule collection of linen pieces, crafted from linen milled in Northern Ireland. Her latest work has been in collaboration with a fibre farm in Somerset, developing an exclusive range of luxury British wool gilets and jackets.
