From the Céline S/S 2012 collection designed by Phoebe Philo, these platform heels feature black suede uppersset on sculptural red leather platforms with substantial block heels. S imilar styles appeared on the runway and in the season’s campaign, where exaggerated platforms were used throughout the collection to offset Philo’s clean, architectural ready-to-wear. A strong example of early 2010s Céline footwear, these shoes combine minimal construction with bold proportion and graphic colour contrast. Made in Italy.
