These gorgeous buttons were handmade from stoneware clay for EweMomma by the lovely Melanie from Cherryhill Studio, who's based in Ballynahinch in Co Down. The buttons are glazed on all sides in a combination of stoneware glazes that have created a unique effect as the glazes combine during firing in the kiln.These round ceramic buttons feature a Celtic Knot, which comes from Melanie's cherished collection of handcrafted woodblock stamps that she's accumulated over the years. The Celtic Knot has many variations and meanings. The knots are made from complete loops with no start or finish and could be said to represent eternity, whether this means loyalty, faith, friendship or love.The buttons measure 27mm in diameter and are 4mm thick. The button holes are 2-3mm in diameter.Stoneware clay is very durable, however hand washing is recommended. BUTTONS SOLD INDIVIDUALLY
