Long-time pal of Irish Design Shop, artist Lucy Sheridan, created these illustrations for us, scenes of the four Celtic festival seasons; Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine, and Lúnasa. Samhain (October 31st) Entering the dark half of the year. A magical time to lift the veil into the otherworld. Dance around the fire and drink in those winter skies. Imbolc (February 2nd) Spring energy as we enter the light side of the calendar. The earth is blooming with excitement. Brave the cold Irish Sea to welcome new beginnings. Bealtaine (May 1st) The ground is bursting with life. Celebrate the summer solstice and take advantage of the bright days. Lúnasa (August 1st) A time of harvest and letting go.. Take a walk through the heather and enjoy this short spectacle. Four square greeting cards, printed in Dublin on a textured card, with a few words on the back about each celebration. The cards measure 125mm and come with a white recycled paper envelope and are blank inside.
