The Fanfare attempts to reflect the joyful exuberance of the CVille Band. It celebrates not only the ensemble’s performance gifts to the community, but also to its individual members, both present and past. Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, its roughly-90 members rehearse and perform year-round, producing about ten full-band concerts as well as dozens of performances from smaller ensembles drawn from its ranks.
