Centered began with a single line spoken by Bend Central District President, Kurt. “Whether you’ve been in Bend for a month, a year, ten years, or a lifetime, we can all appreciate the nature that surrounds us.” Those words inspired a year-long community canvas with contributions gathered across four events, each one layered with personal commitments to preserving our town’s unique spirit. As the final brushstrokes blended muted greens and soft textures, it reflected both growth and calm a mirror of Bend’s balance between development and nature.
