Ceramic Heat Emitter

Heat emitters are a perfect 24hr heat source for many species especially nocturnal species as they give off no visual light what so ever. These are best used in a dome on top of a mesh cage or with a cage lamp protector. The surface of a ceramic heat emitter aka CHE can get blistering hot so they need to have a barrier so animals can't get into contact at all. These are a great investment and last ages. We have some going over 11 years and we have found all brands are equal for the most part. E27- fitting/ standard screw in fitting. Add on's we recommend a thermostat or dimmerstat to give precise control over temperatures as well as cage protectors. For Birds/Parrots: As these emitters do not give off any light, your parrot's sleep will not be disturbed. To be used with the dome fitting.
