They have a curved profile and emit far-wave infrared heat. The sun emits this type of wave pattern so is more gentle and is suitable for warming through an object, unlike short wave, which is more intense.If you need a quicker heat-up time then why not consider our quartz elements instead? They are medium-wave and so will heat up faster bust most importantly fit in the same footprint as ceramic elements.
