Andrea Santamarina fuses two traditions in this artistic collection: Mediterranean painting on ceramics and the Japanese Ukiyo-e style ("pictures of the floating world"), referenci ng the erotic scenes created by Hishikawa Moronobu in the 17th century. Each plate is part of an imaginary animation sequence and, through beauty, reclaims freedom of expression.
