Ceramic Steels are available in fine and standard grit.As these rods remove a tiny amount of metal from the knife, we recommend an additional WÜSTHOF Honing Steel for daily or weekly resharpening. Sharpening Care Instructions: Remove the steel dust that can build up over time, run the ceramic rod under warm water and use a gentle scouring pad to clean the rod.
