Pottery is a physical form of art. We will be working with self-drying clay to make things such as plates, bowls, mugs, jewelry holders, and anything else the students can imagine. We will be learning about different techniques such as throwing clay, pinching, slipping, coiling and glazing. At the end of the week, students will be able to take their pieces home along with the ability to use their knowledge to make more pieces on their own. This morning STEAM camp (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) will be held on June 22nd through June 26th, 2026 AND August 3rd through the 7th and is for ages 7 and up, Monday through Friday. All sessions have a take-home product from their week with us! Cost: $190 / week for a 1/2 day). The afternoon session for these weeks is Energy Alternatives. You can sign up for a full day camp for $360 (see Full Day Summer STEAM Camps found HERE). If the cost of this class is a barrier, scholarship funds are available for low-income families. Please contact us for details. Refunds: As we only offer 12 students per camp, we cannot offer a refund once you sign up and pay. Your payment secures your spot, which is completely reserved for you.
