Handmade by Wesley Scott in his Brooklyn, NY studio as part of his show, "Solar Terrain" at Mount Sunny Studio Material: ClaySize: 6" x 7"Year: 2021 These orb-like structures are l oosely and roughly built. The moist clay often collapses and bends, creating crater-like surfaces. Some pieces feature simple repairs that mimic the handstitching on the clothes and Assemblages. The Meteors are all finished with a variety of glazes heavily painted on. This technique creates the varied color and textures as the glazes interact, bubble, and blend. Show more
