Cerithium sp. Reef Safe Though small in size, the Cerith Snail can consume large amounts of detritus, uneaten food, fish waste, and algae. They often burrow in the aquarium sand to feed and help maintain the oxygen levels in the sand. They are sensitive to high levels of nitrate and copper-based medication.
