Cetearyl Alcohol is a blend of cetyl (C16) and stearyl (C18) fatty alcohols derived from vegetable oils such as palm. In formulations, it serves as a thickener, co-emulsifier, visc osity controller, and emollient, helping stabilize oil-in-water emulsions and enhance product texture. It supports a smooth, conditioned skin feel and is commonly used in creams, lotions, conditioners, shampoos, and body washes. Show more
