Relief print on Thai Mulberry paper, embellished with gold leaf 8x10” This is the third print in my Constellation series, and I’m very excited about how this one turned out! From W ikipedia: “The Cetus was a sea monster in Greek mythology which both Perseus and Heracles needed to slay. Cetus is in the region of the sky that contains other water-related constellations: Aquarius, Pisces and Eridanus.” I chose to represent Cetus as a humpback whale rather than a sea monster, because I find the idea of them swimming through the cosmos rather dreamy.
