CfM Sand was inspired by the sand dunes down the street from our shop. CfM Sand, along with CfM Celadon, make up our 2023 'ode to summer' colors and are great to bring along with you on any trip to the beach! We crafted it to be the perfect balance of the warmth of French Ochre Very Light and the coolness of Buff Titanium. It's soft, slightly opaque and oh so lovely! CfM Sand is a warm, light tone but has wonderful covering power and tinting strength. All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness! Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint. Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
