Samuel Billaud stems from the very well-known Domaine of Billaud-Simon in Chablis.The estate produced wines for generations and sold them to the Faiveley family in 2014. As part of the exchange, Samuel Billaud took the estate's oldest vineyards and established a Domaine under his own name. There is no surprise regarding the pedigree of the sites he works with and his aptitude to produce unique expressions. This Chablis village punches well above its weight.
