We once found ourselves stranded by the roadside in a small Turkish village. Thankfully, a grandma sheltered us while we waited for the next bus. On her table: figs, spiced tea and a couple of bananas. That combination shouldn't work, but it did, and it was the best breakfast we've had. This is our homage to that kind grandma. Show more
