The chain drop bracket attaches to the fascia board directly above a gutter outlet with (4) 1-1/4" screws provided. A 3/32" cable hangs from the bracket through the outlet permitti ng water flow. A steel hollow ball assists to guide rainwater to a chain (not provided) resulting in a decorative water feature. Please note that rainchains slow water flow through surface tension and will splash. Use 3/8" chain available through local hardware outlets and limit to 10 ft. Not recommended under freezing conditions. Show more
