Balance and Support the Root Chakra The 1st chakra, also known as the Base or Root Chakra, is positioned at the base of the spine and associated with the color red. It is linked with our vertebrae, bladder, and colon, and governs feelings of security and basic survival needs. When the Base Chakra is in balance we feel safe and at home in the world. When out of balance, we may feel insecure, ungrounded, negative, greedy, and unable to move forward. It is impossible to fully balance the other chakras if the base/root is imbalanced. Our Chakra 1 (Base) Oil Blend is a combination of pure essential oils, specifically chosen to instill a feeling of balance and support to the energies of the 1st chakra. This oil blend is safe to use in your water-based essential oil diffusers and pairs perfectly with our Chakra "Good Vibes" Carrier Oil for topical use in massaging into the skin and pulse points. NOTE: Chakra 1 Oil Blend is made from pure oils and must be diluted before applying directly on the skin. Each chakra holds a unique energetic frequency and relates to specific functions. Base/Root Chakra It is thought that the Base Chakra gives energy to the other chakras, so it is important to keep the first chakra flowing for the other chakra centers to be in balance. Symptoms of a blocked Root Chakra can include feelings of anxiety and fear, and can physically manifest as problems with the colon, legs and feet. The first chakra is connected to the color red. Using your Chakra 1 Oil Blend, diffuse or inhale the scent from the bottle and visualize a bright red light radiating from the base of your spine (tailbone area) and rooting you deep into the earth. Some mantras you might repeat include: I am grounded, I am safe, and I have everything I need. This will help inspire a grounded feeling and heighten feelings of safety and security.
