This little fish from the tropical Atlantic is an absolute delight. Perfectly sized and with a peaceful disposition to tankmates, the Chalk Bass will do well alone but prefer to be in groups, its helpful if they’re all introduced at the same time. In addition to its bright colors, this species is remarkably hardy and will do well in aquariums as small as 30 gallons as they only reach a max size of 3”.
