Chalkless works in a way unlike anything you’ve used before, by selectively removing oil from the surface of skin/leather and repelling sweat and water, all while never leaving a sticky residue. To ensure you get the most out of using Chalkless some brief instructions are below to help ensure best performance. Why and How Chalkless works on your hands What sets Chalkless apart from other grip enhancement products (like chalk) is that we took a completely different approach and looked at the science of what causes the slip in grip. The natural oils on the skin are the problem! Remove them from the surface and grip can be significantly more consistent and efficient. Chalkless is oleophilic and hydrophobic, which means it absorbs oil in seconds, and skin is no longer slippery. In addition, water and sweat are repelled from the treated skin, making performance in extreme conditions even more profound. These benefits are felt and observed immediately, making performance more consistent and not affected by climate. Hand Use – remove oil from skin to enable consistent grip and feel 1. Apply ½ teaspoon of Chalkless to the palm of your dry hand. This can be done manually or with one click of the Chalkless dispenser. Larger hands may require more.2. Taking care to keep the Chalkless on your palm, rub hands together to grind particles into your pores, stripping away surface oils that make things slippery.3. Shake off, wipe away, or clap hands to remove residual dust.4. Enjoy your non-tacky, non-chalky improved grip! Why and How Chalkless can work directly on a racket, paddle or golf grip Grips must be replaced or cleaned consistently due to the oil from the skin soaking into them. Chalkless, when rubbed onto the hands and grips, does a few things.1. Removes skin oil to reduce/prevent transfer to grips2. Repels sweat and water on the skin3. Removes skin oils already on the grips themselves4. Repels sweat and water on the grips5. Roughens the surface of the grip to provide more points of contact (increased static/sliding friction) When hands are washed, the residual Chalkless has been removed, but your skin oil is likely still not there until time passes for replenishment. The grip will still be improved, and numbers 3, 4, and 5 above will still be applicable.
