This handmade PRO version combines a supple Super Polyester casing with our standard Smart Compound. This Challenge TLR model is hookless rim compatible. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable. COMPOUND: SMARTplusA tougher and more cut-resistant rubber compound for the demands of gravel and rough terrain. SMARTplus wears longer to keep tread edges sharper, improving confidence over mixed surfaces. PUNCTURE PROTECTION: PPS2Our tires designed for use on rough roads, cobbles and gravel are built with an additional layer of PPS (PPS2) on the inside of the casing.
