Jeremiah 33:3 The Message Starting as a charcoal drawin g of a leafy stem, I ruined it by experimenting with water and charcoal. Days later, after praying for inspiration, I turned the piece upside down. God answered my prayer in a way I could never have imagined. There before me was a landscape with ANIMALS, BIRDS, and IMAGINARY CREATURES! All they needed was a touch of help from a pencil. Isn't that the way it works in our lives too? When we have unexpected or unpleasant experiences in life, it is easy to become frustrated. Prayer, however, can lead us to view our situation from a different angle...in a way, similar to turning a painting upside down. God gives us a new perspective and he shows us things that we hadn't noticed or thought of before. May we always be mindful of asking, "What is the blessing or the gift in this?" as we acknowledge God's faithfulness. Mixed media Show more
