Chamomile is the classic herbal tea, the one that's been part of quiet evenings for generations. Ours is simply whole chamomile flowers, nothing else, brewed into a soft golden cup that's naturally caffeine-free. It's gentle, sweet and floral, an easy herbal tea to reach for when the day is winding down. Tasting Notes The cup is light gold and delicately fragrant, with the honeyed, apple-like sweetness chamomile is known for. Behind it there's a soft herbaceous note from the flowers themselves, and a clean, mellow finish. It's sweet without any sugar, calm in character, and pleasant to drink slowly. A Quiet Cup Chamomile is made from the small daisy-like flowers of the chamomile plant, dried whole and steeped just as they are. Since it's a herbal infusion rather than true tea, there's no caffeine at all, which is why it has long been the cup of choice for evenings and unhurried moments. Ours contains one ingredient: chamomile flowers. Brewing Heat fresh water to 94 °C and steep 2.5 g of flowers (about one teaspoon) for 5 minutes. Cover the cup while it steeps to hold in the aroma, and give the flowers time to open fully.
