How it tastes Aromatically rich, full and creamy with delicate floral and peppery notes, then fresh and citrus-driven with elegant minerality. All Chardonnay. The producer Abelé 17 57 is among the oldest houses in Champagne and one of the least marketed, which keeps the price honest. Whole clusters gently pressed, fermented in stainless steel to hold freshness, aged on lees with 20% reserve wines in the blend. Food and drinking Good with seafood, salads and poultry & pork.
