How it tastes Creamy and fruity with deep toastiness, caramel, ripe citrus and stone fruit, held together by stony minerality and fine acidity. Meunier and Pinot Noir at 35% each, Chardonnay 30%. The producer Brut Impérial is assembled from over 200 crus with 20–30% reserve wines — a scale of blending that exists to make the wine taste identical every year. That consistency is the point of the house, and the reason it is the most recognised Champagne in the world. Food and drinking Good with seafood, salads and poultry & pork.
