Chamucos Reposado Tequila is crafted using 100% organic premium blue agave, harvested from the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco. The agave is slow-cooked in specially designed masonry ovens at low temperatures and pressure, ensuring a delicate and thorough process that lasts around 30 hours. After cooking, the agave is cooled for an additional 24 hours to preserve its rich flavors. The extracted juice, known as "agua miel," is naturally fermented with proprietary yeast before undergoing double distillation in custom stainless-steel Alembic stills. The Reposado is then aged for 6-7 months in American Oak barrels, resulting in a smooth, balanced tequila with rich complexity and depth.
