The EVO bio-based castor bean yarn carries over unchanged: all-over mesh construction, mid-calf height, targeted compression built into the knit, and natural bacteriostatic properties for odor resistance without chemical treatment. The padding sits in the midfoot rather than blanketing the entire foot, which keeps the sock light and breathable while adding protection where it counts most on uneven terrain. The distinction from the Lightweight is intentional and specific. This isn't a heavily cushioned sock in the traditional sense, and if you're running in a max-stack shoe you likely don't need it.
