Use this Texture Pack for your final files or as a launching off point for your next design. Document is 3600px x 5400px or 300 dpi at 12”x18” and can be resized to fit any smaller scale project. Experiment with Layer Masks and Creating your own Gradient Maps for even more versatility. Before beginning, open the CNG_TexturePack.psd, find the Gradient Panel. Find ‘Import’ or ‘Import Gradients’ and install the Import_CNG_Gradients.grd file to your program. Step OneOpen up the Photoshop Layers Panel. Scroll to the bottom layer. Double Click on the Smart Layer to open an embedded .psb file. Build or Place your Artwork in the .psb file and Save using Command S. Step TwoFind the ‘Choose Graphic Texture’ Group. Explore the different texture option Layers. Choose which works best for your project. Hide Layers not in use. Step ThreeFind the ‘Explore Blending Modes for Extra Texture’ Group. Find the Blending Modes Drop Down menu. Try ‘Darken,’ ‘Multiply,’ ‘Lighten,’ ‘Screen,’ ‘Exclusion,’ and other options to view which effect is right for your project. Hide Texture Layers not in use. Step FourFind the Gradient Map Layer. Double Click on the Gradient icon to open the Gradient Map Properties Panel. In the Gradient Map Properties Panel, double click the linear gradient to open thee Gradient Editor. In this Panel you will find a Group of Gradient Presets called “Chaotic No Good Gradient Maps” start here for color options for your project!
