Each charcoal sketch is an original work on 18”x24” drawing paper. The entire collection spans from 2009 to present day. The charcoal sketches are the foundation for my gestural li ne work, a practice I began when I was 14 years old. Additional sketches can be found in the studio, some paper aged from the 1940s.
