"Information On The Original Coin:The Charles I Crown is a coin minted during the early reign of Charles I. It was produced at the Tower of London. The coin's design and inscriptio ns are significant and speak to the turbulent times and challenges faced by King Charles I, especially during the Civil War that commenced in 1640. Subsequent to the outbreak of the war, Royalist mints were set up in various towns across the West and North of England. The coin bears the inscription ""CAROLVS D G MAG BR FR ET HI REX"", which translates to ""Charles by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland"".
