Charon, the Ferryman of the Underworld. He guides the souls of the departed from the world of the living, to the Underworld. During ancient burial rites, the Greeks would place a l ow-value coin, known as Charon's Obol, in the deceased's mouth so they could pay Charon for the trip over the Styx. Those who did not have the Obol were forced to wander on the shores for a hundred years. My hope when you use this yarn is that you appreciate every second, and every stitch. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wet block when finished working. Some color bleeding may happen on first wash. The yarn is dyed in the same pot, but that by no means promises they will each take the dye the same. If you are making a large project, please feel free to reach out and I can work with you to ensure the yarn you get is from the same dyelot, or dye them special for you.
