Overview Details Shipping & Delivery Yamacoh Co. Since 1972, Yamacoh Co. has sought to achieve unity between Japanese beauty and function. The Japanese word, youbi, translates to “functional beauty,” where the essential beauty of something is revealed through functional use. Yamacoh woodenware products are made using Japanese woods such as Hinoki and Sawara (types of Japanese Cypress). The wood is known for its delicate lines and smooth surface. In the hands of skilled craftspeople, beauty and function come together. Charred Cedar Cold Soba Tray These traditional Cold Soba Trays are made from high-quality, charred, Japanese cedar wood to create a darker, more striking finish. They are perfect for serving cold soba noodles as the mat at the bottom allows excess water to run off, keeping the noodles from getting soggy. The tray can also be used as a serving tray for vegetables and other dishes.
